Becky’s pink and green garden
Since joining the Flea Market gardening gang, Becky’s garden has gone through many changes. In spite of many challenges, Becky has continued to add so many projects to her garden that we need to take another look around! She’s the Queen of quality craftiness!
Like Ann Elias with her ‘teal garden,’ Becky also has a color theme running through her garden,…her favorite pink along with refreshing garden green.
In her own words:
“All the unique items in my garden I made from re purposed items I have been given, found at auctions or flea markets. Many of the items have been given new life through using stained glass, old dishes and mirror glass to mosaic and bring new life and beauty to my garden. My entire garden is actually so small. I need to measure but would guess about 30 feet by 50 feet is the area I garden and decorate.”
My fish pond area made from a bathtub that I did a mosaic on, The fountain is three balls also covered with mosaic. The chandelier is for watering the birds, I keep all the little depression glass pitchers filled with fresh water.
The wall behind the pond is metal French doors and several shuttered doors that I painted and filled the lights on the French doors with alternating mirrors and ceramic tiles. The three pictures on the wall ae all mirrored panels, framed and decorated with hand made clay ceramic frogs and also glass pieces.
This piece is an old door from a old store cooler, I used old dishes and glass and mirror to mosaic the entire piece, I cut all the tea cups and tea pot with a wet tile saw. All the little cups are holding succulents. The lilies are popping up in front of it.

Pretty in Pink
I have two of these bird feeders which I made using antique ceiling fixtures and china plates. Just use a piece of all thread rod, a few nuts and bolts and a hanger on the top. The birds and I both love these because the seeds all stay dry,
My garden totem made from copper planters bought at auction and flowers. I stacked these on a large T-post. I used pvc pipe between the pots and decorated each piece of pipe with
pink and green mosaic pieces to hold the planters apart.
I moved the stacked planter this year so that I could fill it with creeping Jenny and also succulents that would come back each year, It is happy in the new home.
This is the treasure walk that I made, with molds for the concrete. Then I embedded different items, glass pieces, small bottles and prints of leaves in each stone. Early spring before all of the bulbs have filled in the area.
Little birds just love to perch on this little pink cup and drink their fresh water,
My hubby heated and spread this fork so that I could hang green bottles on it. This really catches the sunlight, The chair is another piece that I rescued from the trash and refinished and painted.

Love the patina on this penny ball, Bowling ball covered with pennies, What a great patina it has achieved in the garden.
Plates on the wall of my garden, I love old plates with roses on them, The top three in the plate rack are several layers of plates and also porcelain figural plates all layered into flowers.
Plate flower made with some pieces my grandmother gave me when I was a little girl, Now I get to enjoy them in the garden.

So beautiful. I know it gives you and all that see it great joy. I love to work in my garden even tho I am down to mostly pots and a 3 small areas that I have tried to keep up it gives me so much pleasure. I do enjoy seeing all the beautiful gardens
Your garden is so beautiful and I loved seeing all the details. Pink and green is my favorite color combination in the garden! My potting shed and most of my plants are themed with that sweet combination and I never get tired of it even after so many years. You are so creative with your use of re-purposed materials…an inspiration!
