Best of Flea Market Winter garden designs

To celebrate the Winter season, we’ve collected some of the most inspiring “Winter” photos ever posted here on our page in three years.

An icy driveway to Debra Clark’s place. See the spiral?

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
to watch his woods fill up with snow…
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
but I have promises to keep, and
miles to go before I sleep, and
miles to go before I sleep.

Jill Waltenspiel’s frosty rose

“We are given memories so that we might have roses in December.”

Jeannie Rhodes’s snowy garden bed. Were there really flowers here?

Frosty-white and cold it lies
Underneath the fretful skies;
Snowflakes flutter where the red
Banners of the poppies spread,
And the drifts are wide and deep
Where the lilies fell asleep.

Susie Blair captures a fiery Winter sunset

A Winter Sunset
The frosty sky, like a furnace burning,
The keen air, crisp and cold,
And a sunset that splashes the clouds with gold
But my heart to summer turning.

Marie Niemann’s rust and snow. Looks good, huh?

“December’s wintery breath is already clouding the pond, frosting the pane, obscuring summer’s memory…”
― John Geddes

In a few blinks you can almost see the winter fairies moving in . . .
But first, you hear the crackle of their wings.”

Walking Darby Miller’s path requires a warm and cozy wool scarf.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

  • I have never seen snow in person, and now that I'm in my 60's, don't think I can handle it! These photos are just so breathtakingly beautiful, I think I might just have to make a winter vacation up north someday soon! Thank you for sharing all of them, and Happy New Year!
