Sue’s scattered sunflowers and what she did

Garden Junk fun!, Gardening tips

A simple story of a stormy scattering of Sue’s sunflowers and ,…her solution!

Sun flower

One day in South Dakota, a storm blew strongly through and around the picnic shelter Sue’s family uses to keep the insects out while they eat. It blew all the sunflowers down, down, down and now they were within reach of the hungry deer.  The bees still buzzed around the cheerful, but now a bit shaken,…sunflowers!

Oh those poor sunflowers..

Ruined, right?

Ruined, right?

What the deer didn’t eat and the wind didn’t blow apart, Sue gathered gently into some galvanized containers and watering cans. She can

make lemonade from lemons…
