What I’m really doing in the garden this summer

Garden Junk fun!

Can this be called ‘working’ in the garden?

Can this be called working?

I’m working,…right?

Swingin’ and watering.   I feel good about watering the plants that surround my patio.  I water in the mornings and late afternoons so the water doesn’t instantly evaporate!  The small areas of stamped concrete allows me some places to go barefoot…and is more sustainable than wood decking which we considered.

The real reason I’m posting this picture of me in the garden is to mark the start of my job, working (playing really) full time, on our Flea Market Gardening website,…a milestone from 2013, and to celebrate the joy of spending more time on FMG!  Yippee!

The swing is a Sky Chair, hung high up in the oak tree…it’s heavy canvas with sturdy stitching, VERY comfortable and I highly recommend it for lazy days.  Did I say that….NO, I’m working…

If you want one, look for them at flea markets or on Amazon, here:
