This reminds me of when my father lived with us for a couple of years. When the "Better Homes and Garden" magazine came in the mail, he'd tell my husband it hide it or he'd have some project to do. FMG is as good or better as it has many projects that I can do myself!

We are still coming up with ideas about six years after the wooden wheelbarrow that my father in law created. My husband had an idea this spring on making an arbor so we could attract more hummingbirds. We finished it in May. It has a raised bed about 40 inches by 18 inches. He attached a plastice mesh to it using two layers to support the cardinal vine seeds I sowed. It was beautiful ,lots of other birds loved it ,too. I am waiting for the pods to turn to collect seeds for next year. The best thing is my husband surprised me by drilling holes into two half circles he made and added blue bottles to set on the top of the arbor !!

I am just waiting for the rain, we never have in CA, to stop so I can find some time to get them going. Love this blog and the Facebook page too.
