A blue-speckled metal tray set with Flea Market vases, set the stage for my daffodils rescued from the snow showers of last week. Behind are two pillows, also found at thrift stores, a sage green textured satin and a puffy blue and white quilted pillow sham. A pretty combination for these winter weary eyes, I say!
Don’t you love blue and white? I do. On the windowsill just out of sight is my collection of little cobalt vases, started with one of my grandmother’s, (a Shirley Temple cream pitcher), and added to with junk shop finds. I love how the light comes through them.

And the best blue and white is the white petaled ‘Ice Follies’ against a cerulean sky, (below.) I hope Spring comes finally…the winter has been long, especially for those in the north and higher elevations. I hope everyone will enjoy some flowers soon where they are!
