Oh do I hear this one as I don’t know how many times ive bought supplies that have sat there waiting for my next purge !! Ive felt downright wasteful with the only concession being when I purge its to a second hand store and recoup some of the money spent . As I was telling others on here one day I felt litterally junked out ! I have since made a vow to be more choosey and last summer I only started projects that I knew I could finish . Just cluttered out . So oh yes can I relate !!

I think the “to day-gift” is to realize, that you have got a whole life a head of you. The ideas will be used some times – or make other happy by sharing. And “to day” is for both “nice 2 do” and “need 2 do´s”. In gardening as in living in general.

Sorry – I can wery well hear, that it sounds oldfashion, but because of a minor brain damage, I have learned in the hard way, that you (I) don´t get happy by thinking about all the things, I didn´t do in my garden. But the day might com to make ‘the rigth idea come trough’ to make them real. Perhaps not all of them, but the idears that lasts.

Well said my gardening friends. I feel just the same. I love the way the pictures on the computer and in the magazines inspire me. Since August I have been recovering from neck surgery on 2 disk after which I suffered a very mild stroke. Just a little numb in left hand and foot with little vision loss. I do want to thank all of you for contributing to my recovery. My main man bought me an iPad and there you all were….sisters of the rocks, dirt, and all things old and rusty. I have spent many hours pouring through the pics and articles. This was a great post because I have had a chance to go thru my “gonna do collection”. I look forward to the spring. I have now retired from my workaholic career and plan on completing some projects. Save on my friends. Thank you all dear new friends.

I do too, Nancy, and you know my Mom used to save magazine articles in files, gardening, home and children….it must be hereditary. My clipping file helped a lot when decorating our house and planting the garden, so they are of use!

I think I know what you mean, Myra,…I’ve been looking at this file and deciding which ones I really want to do this year and deleting those I’m no longer interested in. Winter’s a good time for dreaming, huh?

Ha! Marie, I nearly didn’t post this because I thought it was a bit of a rant. I admire very much those who post on our Facebook page, because they are the doers! I used to collect magazine clippings and have a ton in files I never look at. If I looked, bet I’d find some good ideas, too. AND I have stacks of magazines I particularly love and when I think of throwing out the lot, it makes me physically ill. I need professional help, I know! lol!
