I do like your idea of trying to use rocks as garden decorative and arrange them like folk arts. That is an advice I will be sure to give a try as it would suit perfectly in our garden's theme. Hopefully, I could find a potential stone delivery contractor so that I could get the best stones for my decoration. Thanks!

Well here in New England the population of rocks far exceededs the people population! We put in an above ground swimming pool many years ago, while digging it out to make it deeper in the center, we saved the rocks from that dig, and I can surely tell you I was not planning to waste a SINGLE ONE after all that work! They became the framework for many garden beds around our home, we saved a lot of money and they look like they belong here, well because they do! Great post!

Rocks are a natural in gardens. They can do so many things. I am constantly collecting rocks others don't want, and along the road. I normally keep a pair of gloves, old shoes and a shovel in my suv so that when I see unloved rocks in the ditches along country roads I can "rescue" them and give them a home in my yard and gardens. I "collected" all the rocks and stone I used in and around my cornzebo, and my yard.
